Kil-Kare Opener Froze Out Again

Xenia, OH. (4/12) - For the second week in a row freezing temperatures and
wet grounds have forced Kil-Kare Speedway to cancel their season opening events.
Perhaps the third try will be the charm needed on Friday night, April 20, to
finally get the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series late models, modifieds, sport
stocks, and compact season under way.
It will also be Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club night with all current DARF members
admitted free of charge to the grandstands compliments of the management.
Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. with racing starting at 8 p.m.
Test and tune is held every Thursday evening throughout the season at both the
speedway and dragway starting at 5 p.m. Admission is just $5 which permits fans
to visit the pit area of both tracks to get a close up look of the cars.

Weather Wins Kil-Kare Opener

Xenia, OH. (4/5) - With the drastic drop in temperature and extremely wet
grounds, Kil-Kare Speedway officials have been forced to postpone Friday nights
season opener until April 13.
Providing the weather co-operates, the NASCAR Whelean All-American Series late
models, modifieds, sport stocks, and compacts will officially open the 2007
season. Joining the regular divisions will be the KOIL Legend Cars and
Bandoleros with the gates opening at 6 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.

Kil-Kare Speedway Season Starts Friday
Xenia, OH. (4/3) - Kil-Kare Speedway will kick off their 55th year of presenting
auto racing events at the Green County facility this Friday night, April 6.
Scheduled to see competition will be the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series late
models, modifieds, sport stocks, and compacts with the gates opening at 6 p.m.
and racing at 8 p.m.
Fairborn's John Vallo is expected to return to defend his late model
championship as well as defending modified champ Shawn Gray of Columbus in the
modifieds. Last years sport stock champ, Xenia's Tom Williams is expected to be
one of the top contenders in that division as will be Beavercreek's Randy Walton
as he returns to defend his last years points championship.
The following week will see the KOIL Legend Cars join the regular divisions
while on April 20 it will be Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club night with all DARF
members admitted free of charge.
The month of April will close out on April 27 featuring double points for all
divisions.
