FULTON SPEEDWAY’S 2010 WEEKLY CLASSES ANNOUNCED FULTON, NY…10/23/09 - Fulton Speedway has announced their weekly line-up of classes for the upcoming 2010 season. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds will once again highlight the race program at the high-banked track. Both the popular DIRTcar Sportsman and Novice Sportsman classes will come back for another season. As announced previously, a new Crate Late Model class will be in competition weekly at Fulton Speedway. And a new Four Cylinder division will come about with the blending together of the former Super Stock and Gladiator rules. Rules for the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman and Novice Sportsman classes will follow DIRTcar rules. Some procedural updates on the Novice Sportsman class will be released soon. The sanction and rules for the new Crate Late Model class are still to be determined and will be announced soon. The rules for the new Four Cylinder division are being worked on at this time and more information will follow once they are finalized by Fulton and Brewerton Speedway officials. The Street Stock division has been dropped from weekly competition at the track. High costs in the division have led to declining car counts which had only three competitors compete in all 14 shows during the 2009 season with an average car count in the low teens.
