Moses Smith to Pilot the #18
HASA Pool Products Chevrolet for BMR
ANTELOPE, CA (February 10, 2007) – Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) has signed Moses
Smith to pilot the No. 18 HASA Pool Products Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for the
2007 NASCAR Grand National Division West Series season.
“We are delighted to have Moses as member of the BMR team,” said team owner
Bill McAnally. “He tested for us at Altamont Motorsports Park and we liked
what we saw. We’re looking forward to getting Moses into Victory Lane this
season and bringing home a third consecutive Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award.”
After spending time with Moses and HASA Pool Products President, Mark Wilson
this week McAnally stated, “I know this is going to be a great partnership.
Moses has shown much potential. HASA Pool Products is very committed to utilize
our #18 NASCAR Grand National Events car and team to build sales and also
delight their large customer base already booking several Show Car appearances
and planning hospitality events. HASA Pool Products is a great new partner to
both BMR and The NASCAR Grand National West Series.
In 2006, Moses competed in three West Series races recording a top-ten finish at
Irwindale Speedway.
“When I raced at Irwindale Speedway last season, BMR really stood out,” said
Moses. “I told my car chief that in 2007 I was going to race for BMR. I never
really thought it was possible. I’m really excited that I have this
opportunity with BMR and to have the continued support of a great sponsor like
HASA Pool Products.”

The first NGND West Series race will be the Allstate Thunder & Lightning
Racefest at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas on March 31st .
