Earl Pearson Jr. and the Bobby Labonte Racing Team
Preparing For March Events after Successful Speedweeks
ARCHDALE, NC (February 25, 2007)- Earl Pearson Jr. and the Bobby Labonte Racing
Team are busy preparing for several events coming up in the month of March. Earl
and the team will not race over the next couple of weeks while they prepare
their cars and will return to racing on March 9-10th at Columbus Motor Speedway
in Columbus Mississippi. These two events will pay $2000 to win on March 9th and
$10,000 to win on March 10th. Earl and the team then will then travel to
Cleveland Speedway in Tennessee on March 17th to compete in the "Shamrock
60" sanctioned by the Southern All-Stars Series that will pay $7,500 to the
winner. Earl and the BLR Team will return to Columbus Motor Speedway in
Mississippi for the WoO Late Model Series sanctioned event on March 24th paying
$10,000 to the winner and then to North Alabama Speedway on March 25th for a
$7,000 to win WoO Late Model Series sanctioned event.
Earl Pearson Jr. and the Bobby Labonte Racing Team competed in 12 events during
the 2007 Speedweeks at tracks in Brunswick Georgia, Tampa and Barberville
Florida. With a new car owner, Bobby Labonte and a new primary sponsor, LifeLong
Locks for 2007 Earl was eager to get off to a fast start and the three time
national champion would do just that. Earl was one of the hottest drivers during
speedweeks picking up two wins, five top 5 finishes, eight top 10 finishes and 3
fast time awards during the twelve events the team competed at. Earl won for the
first time in his career at East Bay Raceway in Tampa Florida during the Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event and picked up his second career WoO
Late Model Series sanctioned event at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville
Florida the following week.

get this team together in time for speedweeks. Bobby and his entire organization

Gets Second Win during Speedweeks
ARCHDALE, NC (February 13, 2007)- Earl Pearson Jr. and the Bobby Labonte Racing
Team picked up their second win in 2007 during speedweeks at Volusia Speedway
Park in the opening event of the UMP DIRT Car Late Model sanctioned events. Earl
driving the #44 LifeLong Locks, Lucas Oil, Mopar, Sunoco Race Fuels Mastersbilt
Chassis was clearly the dominate car in the feature event. Earl started on the
pole position and led the early laps before being passed by Tim McCreadie on lap
3. Earl raced back by McCreadie on lap 6 and was never challenged again for lead
crossing the finish line a full straightaway ahead at the checkers. The win was
worth $5,000 for Earl Pearson Jr. and the team. Earl Pearson Jr. is the
defending UMP Winternationals champion from 2006 recording a win and several top
5 finishes last year winning the bonus money as the 2006 UMP Winternationals
Champion.
Earl and the Bobby Labonte Racing Team also picked up their first win together
as a team in 2007 last week at East Bay Raceway Park during the Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series sanctioned events in Tampa Florida. Earl won the Tuesday night
feature event that paid $5000 to win the 30-lap event. With two wins in just
eight days Bobby Labonte, Earl and the team have put together a winning
combination in just a short time. Earl has one fast time award, two wins, 4-top
fives and 5 top ten finishes in 9 starts during the 2007 speedweeks events
competing at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick Georgia, East Bay Raceway Park
in Tampa Florida and Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville Florida.
"I'm thrilled to be driving for Bobby Labonte Racing and to get two wins
for Bobby already this early in the season with so many great drivers and teams
here is really amazing for us. I can't say enough about my crew Jason, Matt and
Regan are really on top of these cars right now and making my job easy.

week", stated Earl. Earl is the current 2006 World 100 Champion and 2006
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion.
