Jordan Bland Solid in March,
Adds Danny Myers and W.M.F. Racing Products
CAMPBELLSVILLE, KENTUCKY - March 22, 2006 - Jordan Bland and the Bland
Motorsports team has had a successful month of March to this point, as they made
the starting field in two of Dirt Late Model’s largest shows this month. Their
month started on March 4 at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City,
Kentucky with the $10,000 to win ‘Early Bird Classic.’ Jordan had a fierce
battle with Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Billy Moyer for the heat race win.
He led nine and three-quarters laps of his heat race before succumbing to the
driver of the infamous #21 machine coming out of turn four on the final circuit.
In the unsanctioned feature event, Jordan ran competitively in the rubber and
wound up bringing his Bland Motorsports / B&W Metals / Underground Choppers
#12 MasterSbilt / Cornett machine home with a fifteenth place finish.
After a disappointing weekend in Columbus, Mississippi on March 10-11, Jordan
got right back on track last weekend at the Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in
Clarksville, Tennessee. Jordan won his B-Main event to transfer to the $7,500 to
win, unsanctioned feature event. The young Campbellsville, Kentucky native
stayed out of trouble and ran a smart race to finish in the twelfth position.
UPCOMING TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
March 25 – Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio - $2,000 to win April 1 –
Brownstown Speedway, Brownstown, Indiana - $10,000 to win April 8 – Dixie
